Introduced by Royal Caribbean, the private island is attracting passengers from sister brand
Royal Caribbean International's private island in the Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay (pictured) has had a “fantastic” response from visiting passengers of sister brand Celebrity Cruises, according to the cruise line’s President, Laura Hodges Bethge.
Perfect Day at CocoCay is fringed by beautiful sand beaches and is home to Thrill Water Park, offering ziplining and water sports.
The private island destination in the Bahamas now features on Celebrity Cruises’ new short Caribbean itineraries. Celebrity Cruises’ passengers started visiting the island in April 2024.

Hodges Bethge said: “It has been quite fantastic. It has actually become our number-one-rated destination by Celebrity guests.
"Celebrity guests are absolutely loving it. It has really helped me understand more about our guests.”
Asked if she would like a private island just for Celebrity Cruises passengers, she commented: “Why wouldn’t we share [with Royal Caribbean International], if it worked?”
