Chief Operating Officer confirms preparations for holiday season
The team behind Dubai Airports is well-prepared for the upcoming boost in passenger numbers and the wet season, according to Chief Operating Officer Majed Al Joker.
Al Joker said preparations had included close collaboration with strategic partners and the implementation of advanced plans and passenger data analysis.
He emphasised ongoing coordination with government agencies and strategic partners through regular meetings to manage the potential influx and said that plans were in place to prepare the work team and ensure the airport's readiness.

Al Joker added that Dubai Airports expect to handle more than 23.2 million passengers this quarter, bringing the total number of passengers for the year to 91.9 million.
He also said the management team regularly reviews forecasts and aims to exceed expectations.
A recent report noted an increase in quarterly passenger numbers, with 23.7 million in the third quarter compared to 21.8 million in Q2.
