Four Seasons to open luxury resort in UAE’s Ajman in 2026

Reimagined resort will transform rooms, suites and villas and introduce a new spa

Four Seasons is adding to its growing portfolio of luxury resorts and residences in the Middle East with the launch of the Four Seasons Al Zorah in the UAE’s Ajman.

Taking over the Oberoi Beach Resort, the reimagined beachfront property in the UAE’s smallest emirate will reopen its doors in 2026 following enhancements to amenities, accommodations and wellness facilities.

The development marks Four Seasons’ fourth hotel and resort in the UAE, with three already operating in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Ras Al Khaimah at Mina expected to open in 2026.

According to Four Seasons, the new Ajman project in collaboration with Al Zorah Development Company will bring an “exclusive retreat” to the tiny emirate.

Though still small in tourism numbers compared to the UAE’s other emirates, Ajman is a growing market with a 9% increase in visitor numbers in 2024.

“It is an incredible opportunity to take the pristine, pre-established foundation of this property in Al Zorah and transform it into a one-of-a-kind luxury destination that elevates its allure and appeal," says George Saad, CEO, Al Zorah Development Company.

Situated on Ajman’s pristine beachfront, just 35 minutes from Dubai International airport, the resort will feature 74 rooms and suites and 23 villas, each with private terraces and sweeping views of the resort’s lush gardens and Arabian Gulf.

Amenities will include a private beach, brand-new spa, fitness centre and three pools, including one for kids, an adults-only pool overlooking the sea and an 85-metre infinity pool with private cabanas.

Guest experiences will include curated activities for children, as well as diving excursions and guided tours to the region’s protected mangroves and lagoons, while golfing enthusiasts can access the Al Zorah Golf & Yacht Club, just minutes from the resort and home to an 18-hole, par-72 golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

An all-day dining venue will serve international flavours, and there will also be a beachfront open-air bar and grill and an Italian restaurant with views of the sea. Event spaces will include a grand ballroom, three meeting rooms and a courtyard.

By 2026, Four Seasons will have seven properties in the UAE, including five hotels and resorts and two standalone residences, with further properties rolling out across the Middle East.

Saudi Arabia is expected to welcome five properties, including two resorts in 2025, on Shura Island at The Red Sea and at Amaala Triple Bay wellness resort, and three hotels in Madinah, Saudi’s Holy City, historic Diriyah and Jeddah’s Corniche district. A Four Seasons resort is also coming to Oman.

Beyond the Middle East, Four Seasons has plans for two openings in Egypt, in Luxor and Madinaty, as part of its plans to operate 180 global luxury properties by 2033.
