Puri will use his 17 years of experience across three hotels

There’s a new General Manager at three Marriott International hotels in Dubai, with Saurav Puri taking the lead role at The St Regis Downtown Dubai, Delta Hotels by Marriott, Dubai Investment Park, and Marriott Residences Al Barsha South, Dubai.

With over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Puri brings a wealth of expertise to the multi-property position, having started his career with Marriott International in 2008.

Puri built a strong foundation in commercial strategy before taking leadership roles across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

Prior to his new role, Puri was hotel manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai, where he previously held the position of director of operations. During his three-year tenure as manager, the hotel achieved a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating and earned the Dubai Quality Award.

Before moving to Dubai, Puri was director of revenue strategy for the Middle East and Africa, responsible for 18 hotels across the region in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Algeria, Bahrain, Morocco and Ethiopia. Brands he oversaw included JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Executive Apartments, Courtyard by Marriott and Renaissance & Residence Inn.

Puri describes himself on LinkedIn as “a loving father, husband and also a true hotelier at heart”.

The St Regis Downtown features 298 rooms and suites, all offering the signature St Regis butler service, and is home to a library, a spa and a recently reimagined dining space that looks out over the Dubai Canal, following a global partnership with Italian porcelain brand Ginori 1735.

Delta Hotels by Marriott, Dubai Investment Park, offers 248 rooms and suites, an outdoor pool, spa, fitness centre, restaurant and coffee shop, while newest property, Marriott Residences Al Barsha South, features 138 accommodations spread across 24 floors, from exclusive townhouses to lavish penthouses.
