First Look: Courtyard by Marriott Sliema, Malta

Opened in January 2025, Courtyard by Marriott Sliema marks the first foray in Malta for the brand. Situated in Valletta’s central district, just minutes from the seafront, the hotel offers 151 rooms, many with balconies and all dressed in earth tones with pops of blue and metallic accents. There are stylish nods to Malta’s heritage throughout, from lighting inspired by fishermen's traps to local prickly pear plants that thrive here. Dining is hosted at G’Uniquo, a venue serving Mediterranean comfort food fused with Maltese flavours, and there’s a gym, a spa with an indoor pool and a rooftop pool with city views.
