Adventure Park at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara is aimed at families and corporate groups
Qatar has a new outdoor attraction for adventure seekers that features overwater ziplines, climbing walls, rope walks, trampolines, a freefall experience and more.
Adventure Park has opened at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, a private island reached by a 30-minute catamaran ride from the corniche in downtown Doha.
The park is aimed at families but also tailored to group corporate events.
Adventure Park has Qatar’s longest zipline stretching 275 metres across the Banana Island bay, the country’s highest outdoor rope course and four climbing walls.
These make Adventure Park well suited to team-building events and corporate outings. The rope courses can accommodate up to 70 people at a time and the park offers tailored activities for corporates.
Adventure Park adds to a growing and diverse range of attractions in Qatar, including Meryal Waterpark, one of the country’s newest openings that is home to the world’s tallest water slide.
Qatar intends to triple visitor numbers to 7.5 million by 2030, from 2.5 million in 2022, and for tourism to contribute 10% to GDP.
